*1 sick day a month earned for full time staff
*12 holidays a year for full time staff; Part-time staff earn the holiday if they work 3 days in the week the holiday falls on
*Every other weekend work is required: Friday/Saturday for 3rd shift and Saturday/Sunday for 1st & 2nd shifts
*Mandation: Inverse seniority order, everyone takes a turn, double time pay
*Clothing Allowance: Full time is $175.00 every 6 months; Part-Time is $100.00 every 6 months
*Shift Differential: 2nd Shift is $0.30 an hour; 3rd Shift is $0.20 an hour
*Pension Plan: Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund-4% of earnings go into this fund
*IPMG Health and Dental Insurance for employees that maintain 30 hours a week; Life and Vision insurance is also available
*Union facility-AFSCME Local 1047-Union members pay dues; Fair Share (non-Union) still pay dues and have representation during disciplines but are not allowed to vote at meetings nor use arbitration. LPNs, CNAs and other employees are bargaining unit; RNs, Nursing & Dietary Floats are non-bargaining unit. RNs are considered mid-management.
*Required testing for pre-employment: Essential Functions Test at SMMC Therapy Dept. and Physical at Occupational Health and HCW Background Check
*2 weeks vacation for CNAs and other departments after one year; LPNs get 1 week vacation after one year.
*Part time CNAs have the option of taking benefits or no benefits. No benefit option raises pay to $12.38 per hour.
*CNAs will receive $11.20 an hour (not counting shift differential) and with 9 years experience may make up to $12.99 an hour; LPNs will receive between $17.29-$19.00 an hour.
